Sapient Leopards opting to bat first at Western Railway Ground in Lower Parel were off to a flying start with Vinit and Shahen putting on 66 runs in the first 5 overs. Shahen Mistry top scored with 63 runs off 38 balls smashing 7 fours and 4 sixes while Huzefa Saifee at the middle order plonked a blazing half century scoring 53 off just 21 balls which included 3 fours and 5 sixes helping his team cross the 200 run mark. From the bowlers, Sunil Pardeshi with 3/42 in 4 overs was the pick of the lot.
Jaguars of Triumph Knights managed to successfully chase the big total all thanks to opener Prithvi Kothari’s swashbuckling batting display. Prithvi went all guns blazing as he went on to score a match winning 102* off 55 balls smashing 11 boundaries and 4 sixes. Prithvi was well supported by opener Bhavik Shah who scored 49 runs and later by Salil Babardesai who remained not out on 22* off 9 balls as both the batters finished of the chase in just 19 overs.
