Balasinor Tigers after being put to bat first at Western Railway Ground in Lower Parel made a total of 176/4 in 20 overs. The top order gave a decent start with openers putting on 72 runs in 9 overs while it was Aarish Mansuri at no.4 who top scored and batted well in the death overs smashing a quickfire 56* off 31 balls which included 3 fours and 3 sixes. Aarish and Nihar (24*) both played finishers role with their aggressive batting. From the bowlers, Anand Kothari with 4/23 in 4 overs was the pick of the lot for Cheetahs Mumbai Stars.
Cheetahs Mumbai Stars in reply could only manage 163/4 in their 20 overs despite a brilliant start provided by openers Jay Thakker (40 off 28) and Ronak Seth (52 off 44 balls). The rest of the batters below them could’nt change gears in the death overs which ultimately resulted in them falling short by 13 runs in the end. From the bowlers, Mitul Shah with 2/29 in 4 overs was the pick of the lot.
