NMPL – One of the biggest T20 Tournaments of Mumbai brining all the central regions of Mumbai under one roof witnessed a tremendous success in Season 1.
Players from areas like Thane, Mira Bhayandar, Vashi, Kalyan, Ambernath, Belapur, Koperkhairane, Sanpada and other adjoining regions get a massive platform to showcase their talent on a grand scale through 8 Franchise teams. What’s more, the Season 1 matches were telecasted live on National TV Channel like DD Sports and on Fancode App giving limelight to so many talented cricketers.
Last year it was Mira Bhayandar Lions becoming the Champions of the opening season and taking home 15 Lakhs Cash Prize and the winning trophy while Thane Tigers ended as Runners up with 10 lakhs Cash Prize. It will be interesting to see which team will dominate in Season 2.
With some news to rejoice, the Season 2 is approved by Mumbai Cricket Association and will be played as per MCA’s protocols. Players who are registered with MCA and who have their residential address in Thane’s Jurisdiction can participate in the marquee tournament. The tournament will be played on weekdays and the schedule will be out soon.
