Goldenwings CC after being put to bat first at BPCL Sports Ground in Chembur were all out for just 71 runs in 17.1 overs. Most of the batters found it difficult to get going as Bombay Knight Riders bowlers did an excellent job of restricting the opposition to a low total. Zain Ahmed led from the front as he cleaned up the middle order of Goldenwings returning with excellent bowling figures of 4/19 in 3.1 overs. Apart from Zain, Arun Chowdhary with 2/9 in 3 overs also contributed well.
Chasing 72 was a mere formality for the power packed team of Bombay Knight Riders as they took mere 11.4 overs to cross the victory line. Rahul Kothari (23*) and Tejas Dubey (32* off 15 balls) remained unbeaten as Tejas took no time in finishing the match smashing 4 sixes!
