Raunaq Sharma – one of the promising batters of Mumbai Cricket continues to impress with the bat this time in Times Cricket Shield for Parkophene Cricketers. In the recent match vs Dadar Union Sports Club, Parkophene Cricketers batting first made 258/10 in 64.2 overs with Raunaq Sharma top scoring with an unbeaten half century. Even though, wickets were tumbling from other end, Raunaq held fort with gutsy 68*. Akhil Herwadkar (47 runs) and Bhupen Lalwani (36 runs) also chipped in with contributions. For Raunaq, this is 3rd back to back half century which includes one in comrade shield followed by 2 half centuries in Times Shield signalling his healthy form with the bat.

Dadar Union Sports Club in reply were all out for 241 runs despite a great effort by Ayaz Khan who scored 74 runs. Dhanit Raut, Prayag Kumar and Minad Manjrekar chipped in with 3 wkts each.
