Chembur Gymkhana opting to bat first on their home ground thrived on their opportunity scoring runs with freedom as they notched up a healthy total of 259/4 in 20 overs. Gautam Chopra opening the innings alonwith Vikram Vias turned the game around as both the openers put on a massive 169 run opening stand in mere 13.3 overs. Gautam went all guns blazing smashing as many as 19 boundaries in his knock of 89 off 45 balls while Vikram Vias scored 85 off 41 balls smashing 15 fours and 2 sixes. Pavandeep Singh Patheja at no.3 also chipped in with a quick 47 off 21 balls.
PJ Hindu Gymkhana in reply batted well but fell short of the stipulated target getting all out for 210 runs in 19 overs. Suhel Mistry at the middle order was the top scorer with 49 off 23 balls. From the bowlers, Janak Mehta with 3/44 was the pick of the lot while Pavandeep, Ravi and Prashant bagged 2 wkts each.
