Into Match 6 of Sportsnext Champions Trophy, two promising teams namely Goldenwings CC and ACE CC took on each other at the beautiful Vengsarkar Academy Ground, Mahul in Mumbai. ACE CC after being put to bat first looked least deterred as they notched up a healthy total of 182/10 in 19.5 overs. Opener Sunny Nagpal and Skipper Abhishek Jhaveri set the tone while Sivanandan Konar and Humaid Shaikh with their crucial cameos ensured team reached a good total on board. Siva who smashed 3 sixes scored 34 off 19 balls while Humaid Shaikh scored 34 off 21 balls. Yash Doshi (24 runs) and Amit Shinge (18 runs) also contributed well at the middle order. From the bowlers, Ravi Sharma with 3/31 was the pick of the lot from Goldenwings CC.
Golden Wings CC who were off to a very good start failed to capitalize as they got all out for 139 runs in 18.3 overs. Amit Shinge was the highest amongst the wickets with 4/24 in 4 overs while Yash Doshi also grabbed 2 wkts.
