Played at the picturesque Western Railway Ground in Lower Parel, Sapient Leopards after being put to bat first posted a healthy total on board of 189/8 in 20 overs. Even they lost their openers early, it was Prithvi Kothari, Huzefa Saifi and Dhrumin Shah at the middle order putting up a show. Prithvi looked in excellent touch for his quick 23 ball 41 at no.3 while Huzefa scored 31 off just 16 balls at no.4. Dhrumin Shah at no.5 remained unbeaten on 44* off 30 balls pushing Sapient Leopards to a defendable total. From the bowlers, Sanjiv Srivastav was simply spot on with the ball returning with envious bowling figures of 5/32. That’s the first fifer of Billmart GCH Super League and Sanjiv becomes the first bowler to achieve that feat, a record which will stay with him for lifetime.
All Seasons Panthers were off to a flying start with openers Kavish Jhaveri (48 runs) and Bhavik Shah putting on 64 runs in the first 7 overs. However, the game changer was Harshal Shah at no.3 as he anchored the chase with aggressive striking smashing 62 off just 37 balls. Harshal smashed 7 boundaries and a six at a strike rate of 167.57 as All Seasons Panthers crossed the victory line in the 18th over winning the match by 5 wkts.
