It’s a dream come true moment if one gets to watch such stature of matches live and a similar thing happened with the Morbi District Cricket Association and Axel Academy Players. The players of Morbi District and Axel Sports Academy watched the 4th Test live at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and it was a dream come true moment for the young players from Saurashtra! A total of 650 players including 500 cricket lovers and 150 players from Morbi District Association got this wonderful chance to watch their icon players live!
Morbi District Cricket Association President and MLA Kantibhai Amrutya and Chief Coach Nishant Jani are constantly working on creating new opportunities for players of Morbi District and they are always working hard for the development of Cricket.
MLA Kantibhai Amrutya ensured all arrangements right from transportation, logistics, match viewing passes and snacks were arranged for the 650 people. Coach Nishant Jani shared “Kantibhai is one of the pillars of Morbi District and Morbi Cricket, he is always doing something or the other to take Morbi higher and higher in all departments, his efforts are really commendable and we are inspired by his leadership”
During their visit to Ahmedabad, Coach Nishant Jani and Kantibhai Amrutya met many dignitaries including BCCI President Roger Binny, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah, BCCI Official Rajiv Shukla, Former Test legends like VVS Laxman, Harbhajan Singh. It was a fruitful moment where they got a chance to discuss about the development of Morbi and new opportunities for Cricket. Also the best part and icing on the cake was when they went alongwith 650 people to watch the match live, Prime Minister Narendra Modi alongwith his Australian counterpart were also present during the match!
