Hyderabad U16 E opting to bat first at Nextgen Cricket Ground in Hyderabad made a massive total of 433/1 in 90 overs. Openers Aaditya Kota (167 runs) and Ram Naidu (138 runs) smashed sparkling centuries while all-rounder G Prem coming at no.3 remained unbeaten till the end scoring a very impressive looking 103* off mere 95 balls. Prem’s innings included 17 boundaries and a six as he pushed his team towards a 400+ total to defend.
Hyderabad U16 D in reply were all out for 375 runs with skipper Aryan Reddy showing promise through his innings of 78 runs. Aryan who has performed consistently well since last few seasons played an anchors role while giving support to Y Patra who scored a century at the middle order. Skipper G Prem showed his all-round skills and owned the day as he also took a fifer taking 5/83 in 17.1 overs which included some crucial breakthroughs.
