The foundation of the tournament was laid on 25th September, 2022 on a beautiful Sunday evening at the Banquet of Garware Club House in Mumbai inside Wankhede Stadium. The event was graced by all the 6 team owners of the tournament in the presence of respected Honorable Vice President of the Club Shri. Raj K Purohit, Honorable Treasurer Shri Manish K Ajmera and Chairman of Cricket & Sports Committee Nitin Dalal , along with the entire managing committee members. The event was primarily to seal the Master and Icon Players for each teams through IPL Style Bidding Process which was streamed live as well on Garware Cricket Youtube Channel.
