Jolly Gymkhana after being put to bat first on Bombay Gymkhana’s homeground were all out for 130 runs in 19.2 overs. Seems like Bombay Gymkhana’s decision to bowl first paid off restricting Jolly Gymkhana to a low total. Opener Anand Thakkar and Bhavin Chedda chipped in with 30’s while Charan Shetty with 4/17 bowled an excellent spell being the pick of the lot from Bombay Gymkhana bowlers.
Bombay Gymkhana in reply chased down the total with ease winning the match in a dominating fashion. Opener Shailesh Daga anchored the chase with a solid half century scoring 69 runs off just 43 balls. Shailesh smashed 12 boundaries striking at 160.43 as he kept scoreboard ticking. Bombay Gymkhana crossed the victory line in the 16th over itself winning the match by 4.4 overs to spare.
