Malabar Hill Club opting to bat first at PJ Hindu Gymkhana posted a total of 124/6 in 20 overs. Opener Shamik Shah scored 54* off 55 balls batting till the end however he lacked support from the other end as wickets kept on falling at regular intervals until Niraj Randeri down the order provided a crucial cameo of 298 off 26 balls. From the bowlers, Paresh Shah and Vedant Gabhawala with 2 wkts each were the pick of the lot.
PJ Hindu Gymkhana in reply chased down the total with superlative ease winning the match with as many as 6 overs to spare. Experienced campaigner Maulik Merchant guided the innings with a solid 52 off 35 balls smashing 8 fours and a six. Maulik was well supported by Raj Mehta and Bhaavan Ashar who chipped in with crucial 20’s.
