Panther Warriors opting to bat first at Vengsarkar Cricket Ground in Mahul made a total of 141/8 in 20 overs. It was a patchy start with few early wickets but Haziq Nadeem at no.4 displayed solid composure steering his team towards a respectable total. Haziq scored 53 off 40 balls wherein he smashed 3 fours and 3 sixes while rest of the batters chipped in around him. From the bowlers, Sagar Parikh with 2/18 in 4 overs was the pick of the lot from Bombay Knight Riders.
Bombay Knight Riders in reply were all out for 127 runs in 20 overs courtesy tight and collective bowling by Panther Warriors bowlers. As many as 7 bowlers contributed with minimum of a wicket to their name with Zubair Kazi (2/20) and Vaibhav Kadoo (2/20) being the pick of the lot.
