Experienced Samir Shah’s all-round heroics steers All Seasons Panthers to a win in GCH Cricket Super League Season 2

Cheetahs Mumbai Stars after being put to bat first at Western Railway Cricket Ground in Lower Parel made a total of 142/3 in 20 overs. Ronak Seth at no.3 batted from started to end scoring 46* off 49 balls smashing 4 boundaries while Aryan Babardesai top scored in the match scoring a brilliant 69 off 50 balls which also included 5 sixes. Aryan took the accelerator’s role in the death overs which helped the team reach a respectable total on board. From the bowlers, Ankit Zaveri and Ankit Shah bagged a wicket each while Samir Shah was the most economical conceding only 18 runs in 4 overs which included 13 dot balls.

Chasing 143, All Seasons Panthers were not off to a great start with scoreboard reading 2/27 in the 5th over but it was Avish Mehta and Samir Shah who stitched 63 runs for the 3rd wicket bringing their team back into the game. Samir, an experienced veteran in GSL circuit soaked the pressure and played a spending innings of 49 runs in 34 balls (6 fours, 1 six) which ultimately helped All Seasons Panthers cross the victory line in the final over.

All Seasons Panthers won the match by 4 wkts, Samir Shah declared “Man of the Match” while Ronak Seth for his 46 runs and 1 wkt was declared “Team Player of the Match”
