Payyade Sports Club after being put tot bat first on SPG’s Homeground at Shivaji Park Gymkhana ground made a total of 263/10 in 45 overs. Opener Bhupen Lalwani who has been in excellent form this season continued his rich vein of form smashing a solid 100 off 114 balls which included 8 boundaries and a six. Apart from Bhupen, Prasad Pawar scored 62 off 60 balls as Payyade reached a respectable total on board.
Shivaji Park Gymkhana in reply were all out for 149 runs as Deepak Shetty and Ajay Mishra bagged 3 wkts each ensuring Payyade Sports Club won the match by a big margin of 114 runs.
