MCA BKC after being put to bat first posted a massive total of 291/5 in 20 overs. Opener Ojas Mehta and Jeetinder Dhawan were simply unbelievable as they gave a flying opening start putting on 157 runs for the 1st wicket in the first 11 overs. Ojas scored 79 off 33 balls hitting 15 fours and 2 sixes while Jeetinder scored 82 off 43 balls which included 10 fours and 5 sixes. The show was not over yet as the climax was yet to be unleased by Arun Madhu who came in at no.5 and simply turned things around furthermore with a fiery 87* off just 28 balls smashing 10 fours and 7 sixes. Arun did fantastic batting in the death overs and had he faced a few more deliveries, he could have scored one of the fastest hundreds of the tournament.
MCA SRT in reply were all out for 182 runs in 19 overs with Vatsal Shah taking 3/26 in 4 overs. Apart from Vatsal, Rabindra Jhunjhunwala and Karan Sharma bagged 2 wkts each as MCA BKC won the match by 109 runs. Arun Madhu for his blistering knock of 87* was declared “performer of the match”
