Their innings registered 3 half centuries including a 26 ball 50 by Chinmay Sutar but the highlight performance of the match was Akash Anand at no.6 who scored a memorable century coming at the middle order. Akash remained unbeaten scoring a stroke filled aggressive innings of 109* off mere 59 balls which included 18 boundaries and a six at a strike rate of almost 185.00!
Gravesend CC in reply could only manage 230/8 in 40 overs as Mumbai Indians CC bowlers did a decent job of restricting the opposition batters on an overseas wicket. Almost every bowler contributed well while Chinmay Sutar made it an all round show taking 2/39 with the ball as well.
