Played at Vengsarkar Cricket Academy Ground in Mahul, ACE CC opting to bat first made a total of 143/7 in 20 overs. After a sluggish start by their top order, ACE CC came back into the game thanks to a crucial middle order stand between Siva Konar (43 off 26 balls) and Amit Shenge (30* off 17). Both the players stitched 73 runs together for the 5th wicket which included 5 sixes between them. From the bowlers, Vishal Pandey with 1/11 and Zubair Kazi with 1/17 were the pick of the lot.
Chasing 144, Panther Warriors lost their openers early but it was their no.3 bat Zubair Kazi who single handedly turned the game around with his fearless batting. Zubair batted with supreme confidence as he kept the scoreboard ticking way above its required run rate. He was playing shots at will not afraid to take on ACE CC’s prime bowlers. Zubair scored 103* off mere 50 deliveries wherein he smashed 16 boundaries and 3 sixes. Zubair was well supported by Vishal Sonavane (21* off 20 balls) as Panther Warriors easily chased down the total in 14.4 overs.
