Garware Club House after being put to bat first at Sachivalay Ground made a total of 146/7 in 20 overs. Opener Dinesh Patel gave a solid start with his 23 ball 34 but wickets kept on tumbling from the other end until Amar Parikh at no.6 got his team back into the game with a quickfire 41* off 28 balls (5 fours). From the bowlers, Gurmeetsingh Ahuja was the pick of the lot returning with excellent bowling figures of 4/13 in 4 overs including 14 dot balls!
Chasing 147, Juhu Vile Parle Gymkhana chased down the total with ease crossing the victory line in the 18th over. JVPG did lose some early wickets but Vishal Patel was the game changer as he scored a brilliant 70* off just 41 balls smashing 7 fours and 3 sixes at a strike rate of 170.73. Vishal with his firebrand style of batting took no time to take the game away from the opposition helping JVPG win in commanding fashion.
