Just fresh from an unbeaten 97* off 50 balls a few days back vs Bombay Gymkhana, Vijay Singh continues to rake up the run charts with a yet another crucial half century for MCA BKC in the semi finals of MCC 40+ Championship.
PJ Hindu Gymkhana opting to bat first at Sachivalay Ground posted a healthy total of 184/6 in 20 overs. Even though PJ lost some early wickets, it was Kevin Talati at the middle order scoring 78 off 51 balls smashing 12 fours. Kevin also stitched a crucial stand with Kunal Shroff who scored 41 off 22 balls.
MCA BKC chased down the score successfully winning the match by 3 wkts. It was a nail biter semis where match remained interesting till the very last ball. Vijay Singh opening the innings smashed a brilliant 66 off 46 balls plonking 5 big sixes and 3 boundaries while Manvendra and Vinod a the middle order chipped in with crucial 20’s at the middle order helping MCA BKC cross the victory line.
