Cricket Club of India after being put to bat first at Sachivalay Ground in Mumbai made a total of 193/4 in 20 overs. Even though it was a slightly shaky start but opener Behzaad Davdhawala and Shaleen Toshniwal stitched a big partnership of 145 runs for the 3rd wicket which turned things around for CCI. Behzaad played the anchors role batting from start to end scoring 67* off 48 balls (9 fours) while Shaleen was the destroyer in chief smashing a fiery 90 off mere 50 balls hitting 7 fours and 3 sixes at a strike rate of 180.00 as both the batters ensured CCI reached a big total on board.
Chembur Gymkhana in reply could only manage 164/7 in 20 overs with most of their batters providing starts but not able to convert it into a big total. The bowlers did a good job with Minesh Shah being the pick of the lot taking 3/25 in 4 overs.
