Played at Western Railway Cricket Ground in Mumbai, Spirit XI after being put to bat first made a total of 164/7 in 20 overs. Nitin Keswani was the top scorer smashing 51 runs off 51 balls smashing 6 boundaries. As per t20 standards, it was slightly a slow paced innings but the rest of the batters batted around him with quick cameos. From the bowlers, Vishal Khanna with 2/20 in 4 overs was the pick of the lot.
Chasing 165, Passion XI were off to a good start with openers putting on 56 runs while it was Sahil Mithbhaokar at the middle order who played the finisher’s role to perfection scoring 46* off 30 balls. Sahil was well supported by Gaurav Pai (32* off 22 balls) as both the players played crucial knocks in their team’s win.
Result: Passion XI won by 4 wkts, Sahil Mithbhaokar was declared ‘Player of the Match” for his all round show of 46* and 1 wkt.
