Golden Wings CC after being put to bat first at Western Railway Ground in Lower Parel, Mumbai could’nt make much of an impact getting all out for a low total of 56 runs in 11.3 overs. Panther Warriors bowlers did an excellent job not allowing any batters to settle down especially the Dubey combination of Saurabh and Rajesh. Saurabh Dubey was the pick of the lot with 4/27 in 3 overs while Rajesh Dubey with 3/9 was the 2nd best of the lot.
Panther Warriors in reply could only manage 48/6 as Golden Wings successfully defended their low total winning the match by 8 runs. Rahul Rajput made life difficult for Panther Warriors beating the batsman all ends up as he returned with a match winning bowling spell of 5/14 in 3.2 overs. It was a spell where he single handedly dismantled the opposition’s batting line up and single handedly helped Golden Wings CC win the match from nowhere. Rahul’s fiery spell included 3 LBW’s and 1 Clean Bowled as he ended up bagging “Man of the Match” award.
