Vivek’s Snooker Kings after being put to bat first at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai posted quite a decent total on board of 177/4 in 20 overs. Openers Rohan Punjani and Sahil Purohit scored half centuries stitching an opening stand of 95 runs. Rohan scored 70 off 32 balls smashing 10 fours and 4 sixes while Sahil Purohit batted from start to end smashing 84* off 53 balls hitting 9 boundaries and 3 sixes.
Chasing 178 in a T20 is definitely not the easiest of tasks but Pranav’s Badminton Blasters did a commendable job chasing down the total with success. Opener Siddhesh Aroskar anchored the chase with a brilliant 85* off 53 balls smashing 8 boundaries and 1 six. Siddhesh was well supported by Rupen Jhaveri who scored 34 runs.
Result: Pranav’s Badminton Blasters won by 7 wkts and 2.5 overs to spare. Siddhesh Aroskar was declared ‘Player of the Match”
