Played at Police Gymkhana Ground in Mumbai, Wicketing Wizards after being put to bat first posted a very healthy total of 220/8 in 25 overs. Openers Adil (42 runs off 27 balls) and Shravan Shukla simply took on the bowlers with absolute dominating putting on 103 runs in the first 8 overs. The positive momentum and stage was set by the openers for Wicketing Wizards to reach a more than decent total on board. Shravan Shukla was the top scorer in the match as he smashed an entertaining knock of 77 in mere 34 balls, a knock which included 12 fours and 3 sixes at a strike rate of 226.47.
Passionate Stars in reply managed to give a really good fight but eventually fell short of 14 runs as they got all out for 206/10 in 25 overs. Opener Adit Dhruva scored a well fought 68 off 51 balls but lacked support from the other end. From the bowlers, Jay Joshi with 3/50 and Sharad Mehta with 2/18 were the pick of the lot.
