Played at MCA BKC Ground in Mumbai, MCA BKC opting to bat first posted a healthy total of 167/5 in 20 overs. Opener Ojas Mehta – a consistent top order batter for MCA BKC once again gave a good start scoring 39 off 31 balls while it was Sachin Deshpande at the middle order who top scored with 40 runs off just 30 balls helping MCA BKC cross the elusive 150 run mark in their quota of 20 overs.
Jolly Gymkhana in reply were all out for 141 runs courtesy some disciplined bowling by MCA BKC bowlers. Paresh Shah with 3/35 in 4 overs and Rabindra Jhunjhunwala with 2/21 in 4 overs were the pick of the lot. All-Rounder Ojas Mehta also chipped in with a wicket taking 1/18 in 3 overs as MCA BKC won the match by 26 runs. Ojas for his all round show of 39 runs and 1/18 was declared ‘performer of the match’
