Played at Vengsarkar Cricket Academy Ground in Mahul, Bombay Knight Riders after opting to bat first batted exceptionally well putting on 206/7 in 20 overs. Meraj Sayed opening the innings played a brilliant knock of 73 runs top scoring in the match. Meeraj scored 73 off just 43 balls smashing 11 fours and 2 sixes while Sudatt Dave at no.4 played the finishers role with a 25 ball 54, a knock which included 9 fours and a six. From the bowlers, Jimish Shah with 4/41 in 4 overs was the pick of the lot.
Lalwani XI in reply managed were all out for 137 runs in 19.4 overs with opener Gukul Dharan’s 58 off 37 balls being the highest score. Bombay Knight Riders bowlers did an excellent job with Arun Chaudhary and Ankit Pandey bagging 3 wkts each.
