SPS Superstars opting to bat first at TBD Ground made a healthy total of 196/8 in 20 overs. Openers Suchit and Mihir gave a decent start putting on 39 runs in the first 4 overs while it was Jigar Shah who turned things around with a quickfire cameo of 46 runs in 21 balls. Jigar plonked 9 fours and a six while the lower order batters also contributed well with their cameos pushing the team towards a defendable total. From the bowlers, Alok Gupta and Yash Vora with 2 wkts each were the pick of the lot.
Mavericks SV in reply gave a fight but eventually fell short as they scored 173/7 in 20 overs. None of the Mavericks batters were able to convert their starts while SPS bowlers at the same time did a decent job of taking wickets at regular intervals. Varun Goradia with 3/24 in 4 overs was the pick of the lot as SPS Superstars won the match by 23 runs.
