ACE CC after being put to bat first at Western Railway Ground in Lower Parel notched up a healthy total of 179/4 in 20 overs. Even though they lost early wickets with top order not making a substantial impact but it was their middle order batters Gulshan Nain and Humaid Shaikh at no.5 and 6 turning things around with an unbeaten 103* run stand for the 5th wicket. Gulshan scored 41 off 24 balls while Humaid Shaikh was the top scorer with 52* off 31 balls smashing 2 fours and 4 big sixes. From the bowlers, Ashay Dani with 2/17 was the pick of the lot.
JBCN United in reply only managed 92/8 in 20 overs with only one batter managing to score in double digits. It was a collective bowling performance from ACE CC bowlers with Rohit Lamba leading from the front with 3/18 in 4 overs. ACE CC won the match by 87 runs while Humaid Shaikh was declared ‘man of the match”
