Played at Vengsarkar Cricket Academy Ground in Mumbai, MTM Riders after being put to bat first had a very sketchy start to their innings with none of the batters managing to post a big individual score. However, almost everyone contributed from top to end with Ankit Shah (31 runs) and Vishal Patani (37 runs) being the top scorers. From the bowlers, Ankit Shah and Asit Shah were the pick of the lot taking 3 wkts each in their spell of 4 overs. While Ankit with 3/22 in 4 overs was the pick of the lot, Viral Shah with 2/25 also chipped in well.
Irasva Starz almost had a batting collapse with their top 5 batters not crossing the double digits and scoreboard reading 3/12 and 4/34 at one stage. More than halfway through the match, MTM Riders looked clear favorites but it was a dramatic turnaround by the Irasva middle order batters Harsh and Vishal who stitched a match winning 104 run stand to take their team towards a memorable win. Vishal Shah at no.5 scored a solid 45 while Harsh Sanghvi was the game changer smashing 78* off just 45 balls which included 10 fours and 3 sixes at an impressive strike rate of 173.33
