T20 formats never cease to surprise, every now and then batters take it to an another level and one such performance which has raised the bars of batsmanship in MCC Championship is none other than Aniket who scored one of the fastest and highest individual scores in MCC T20 Tournament.
Goregaon Sports Club after opting to bat first on their home ground made a massive total on board scoring 257/4 in 20 overs. Aniket Kawade who opened the innings dominated the bowlers in every corner of the ground smashing a record breaking 161* off just 70 balls. Aniket Kawade smashed 18 fours and 8 sixes at a stunning strike rate of 230.00 literally toying with the bowling attack of Chembur Gymkhana. Aniket scored 161* off just 70 balls making it one of the fastest tons of MCC as well as registering one of the highest individual scores in the history of MCC Championships.
Chembur Gymkhana in reply could only manage 147/5 in their stipulated 20 overs with Dipen Patel and Sameer Kapadia bagging 2 wkts each.
