Kavir Kings opting to bat first at Parsee Gymkhana Ground in Mumbai made a total of 155/10 in 19.1 overs. Opener Darshit Zaveri and Dhruv Jhaveri at the top of the order gave a great start to the innings courtesy their quick 30’s. Darshit who spanked 3 sixes scored a quick 33 off just 16 balls while Dhruv Jhaveri scored 37 off 28 balls. Udit who came at no.4 also scored a handy knock of 35 runs in 29 balls putting on an important partnership with Dhruv. From the bowlers, Priyal and Kunal bagged 2 wkts each.
Chasing 156, SVZ XI could only manage 137/5 in 20 overs with most of their batters chipping in with starts but none of them being able to convert it into a big score. Kavir Kings bowlers did an excellent job keeping things tight and not letting the opposition let loose! Dhruv J with 1/17 and Darshit Z with 1/22 were the pick of the lot with the ball as well helping their team win the all important semi finals by 18 runs.
