Bhupen Lalwani who opened the innings continued his magical run with the bat this time scoring a match winning 203* off 202 deliveries. Bhupen created history by scoring a Double Hundred in Comrade Shield and also becoming the first double centurion of 2023 season in Mumbai Cricket. Bhipen smashed 25 fours and 3 sixes while he also stitched a record 4th wicket stand of 307 runs with Aayush Jethwa who scored an equally impressive 138* off 161 balls smashing 16 fours and 3 sixes.
Karnatak Sporting Association in reply were all out for 252 runs with Gautam Waghela and Gaurish Jadhav scoring half centuries.
Result: Parkophene Cricketers won by 141 runs.
