Juhu Vileparle Gymkhana after being put to bat first made a decent total of 158/6 in 20 overs. Opener Atul Ganeriwal top scored in the match with a flashy knock of 76 runs in 55 balls wherein he smashed 9 fours and a six at a strike rate of 138.19. The rest of the batters batted around Atul as JVPG crossed the 150 run mark to defend. From the bowlers, Bhairav Sheth and Manan Shah with 2 wkts each were the pick of the lot.
Malabar Hill Club in reply did manage to give a fight but eventually JVPG bowlers had the upper hand as Malabar Hill Club fell short by 16 runs scoring 142/5 in 20 overs. It was a collective tight bowling performance by JVPG bowlers with Gurmeetsingh Ahuja being the pick of the lot with 2/24 in 4 overs. Atul Ganeriwal also chipped in with 1/29 in 4 overs making it an all-round show for his team.
