Balasinor Tigers opting to bat first at Western Railway Cricket Ground in Lower Parel made a massive total of 220/7 in 20 overs. Even though lost their opener Dinesh Patel early, Ankit Sanghavi from the other end turned things around as he went on to score an aggressive knock of 76 runs in 47 balls. Opener Ankit decided to dominate the bowlers right from the beginning putting the opposition team under pressure smashing 11 fours and 2 sixes at a strike rate of 161.70. Ankit was well supported by Aditya Shah (25 runs) and Amit Dassani who played an equal blinder of an innings hitting a super quick 52 off just 27 balls smashing 6 fours and 2 sixes.
Sapiend Leopards in reply could’nt make much of an impact while chasing as they could only manage a total of 135/6 in 20 overs. It was almost a total collapse until Dhrumin Shah at no.6 fought it out with 73 runs off 53 balls (7 fours, 2 sixes). The bowlers did a terrific job with Aarish Mansuri being the pick of the lot taking 3/17 in 4 overs. Niraj Dalal also came in quite handy taking 2/12 in 2 overs.
