Garware Club House Cricket Team wins the 73rd Edition of the immensely prestigious MCA Cosmopolitan Shield 2024 conducted by the Mumbai Cricket Association. GCH Cricket Team beat a formidable side of the Ghatkopar Jolly Gymkhana in the FINALS match in a super thrilling and well-fought contest yesterday at the prestigious Wankhede Stadium.
MCA Cosmopolitan Shield 2024 or fondly called as “Cosmos” by Mumbai Cricketers is a 73 year old tournament, this is one of Mumbai Cricket Association’s most prestigious club tournament in the Mumbai cricket circuit with over 70 Clubs with some of the toughest formidible players participating this year.
“It has been a breathtaking journey, albeit immensely challenging for all of us at Garware Club House to have Won the Finals for the first time in the history of this tournament.
This is not an overnight achievement but are hard earned fruits from the seeds we had sown in GCH Cricket & GCH Sports over the many years painstakingly in Garware Club House with special focus on Sports, as we brought about a radical change of culture towards bringing more emphasis on Sports” says, GCH Cricket Chairman Mohit Chaturvedi.
