The Mumbai Cricket Association have announced their squad for the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy. Ajinkya Rahane will be leading the side in this tournament. Mumbai are boosted with availability of players like Shardul Thakur, Prithvi Shaw, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Dhaval Kulkarni, Tushar Deshpande and Shivam Dube who have a good amount experience in the IPL as well. Having said that Mumbai will be missing their 2 of the most experienced players i.e Siddhesh Lad and Aditya Tare as both of them have opted out from Mumbai cricket. The form of Sarfaraz Khan and Shams Mulani will be very crucial for the Mumbai side as they have been very consistent performers in recent domestic tournaments.

Mumbai have the squad this season to go all the way and lift the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for the very first time, but can they do it ? We will have to wait and watch out as begin their tournament against Mizoram on October 11 at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot.
